Bay Podiatry Clinic

The Havelock North clinic is conveniently located in the Focus Health building at 87A Te Mata Rd, boasting extensive parking and is fully wheelchair accessible. 

 

The clinic hours are 8.30-2pm Tuesday and Friday. House calls are also available for patients with reduced mobility.

 

The clinic is registered with ACC so is able to provide consultation and treatment under the ACC scheme to qualifying injuries / conditions.

 

Here at Bay Podiatry we have a close professional contact with other health care providers so can refer onwards if required. You do not need a referral to attend the clinic.

After returning from 12 years overseas practicing as a registered podiatrist, Julie has returned home to Hawkes Bay and has opened Bay Podiatry. Having grown up in Havelock North and attended school locally, Julie is known amongst the sporting community.

 

While overseas Julie gained valuable experience in the biomechanical and sports podiatry field after completing post graduate study in Clinical Podiatric Biomechanics at Staffordshire University. She was also involved in the development and roll out of the National Clinical Diabetic Foot Model in Ireland, through her position as Senior Podiatrist in Limerick Regional Hospital.

 

Julie is an active practitioner with continued professional development (CPD) and regularly attends update courses and training.
